Project discussion
LCS 201x-03 Architecture statements: review follow-up
The
LCS 201x-03-201x is available in the Member-only area. There are two schemes to integrate Simultaneous Statements into Clause 11 Concurrent Statements in the LCS document. The flat organization seems to be better. Tools access numbering from the LRM. It is an disadvantage that with the hierarchical approach numbering will be changed. The structural statement should be introduced as a statement to represent the structural decomposition of a model. It was agreed to subdivide concurrent statements into concurrent and structural statements. There are no real consequences for the grammar. Alain prepared
comments to the LCS 201x-03 that were also discussed. The feedback will be taken into a consolidated updated document for LCS 201x-03.
Alain asked when he can bring the LCS to the revised LRM. Ernst explainded the procedure. The status is recorded in a LCS. After analysis and revision, a LCS can be approved by the attendees of a WG meeting with quorum. At this point, it can be brought to the revised LRM. The whole WG shall only be asked if the LRM revision is completed.
LCS 201x-04 Types and natures reviewThis LCS is part of creating the Baseline LRM, focusing specifically on the changes related to supporting unconstrained, fully constrained and partially constrained natures and subnatures. Ernst explained the details. The advice was given to have a look at the LCS and give feedback to Ernst.
LRM statusFor details see the
meeting slides. It was suggested to work with the documents for individual chapters to create a LCS.
