Ernst welcomed the participants and started presenting the meeting slides.

Agenda approved without modification.

Administrative issues

Minutes of April 13 working group meeting
Motion from David, Alain seconded. No objections and abstentions. Minutes approved.

Fundraising
Ernst to restart work on fundraising process soon.

Publicity
Joachim to update on actual deadline for Simulation News in Europe (may be earlier than end of August).
Ernst mentioned a special issue of IEEE Design and Test of Computers on new EDA standards. Deadline is end of August. Publication in Spring 2012. Possible joint paper with 1076. Ernst to discuss with Jim Lewis.

Standard revisions
The 1076.1.1-2011 pdf document is available on the private pages of the site.

Roster
WG roster list consolidated with people active in WG discussions/works. Ernst to provide the update roster list to DASC (IEEE request) and to publish it on the site. Access to private part of the site is decoupled from the roster list. Non-DASC members in the roster list are OK, although they cannot participate to WG votes.

Project overview and status

VHPI-AMS
No progress due to lack of time (David).

1076.1.1 integration
No progress due to lack of time (David).

Other mandatory changes
No progress due to lack of time (Ernst).

Table-driven modeling
Use of 1076-2002 (protected types) and new 1076-2008 features (generic packages) to be investigated for realizing a kind of opaque type.

Vector/matrix operations
Waiting for Zhichao's inputs regarding status and plans.

Next steps and meeting

• Possible publications in Simulation News in Europe and in IEEE Design and Test of Computers.
• Definition of 1076.1 financial plan.
• WG roster update.
