Call to order on Sept 23, 2010 at 9:00am PST (6pm CEST)

Zhichao welcomed the participants and started the meeting.

Discuss the requirement draft's undertermined topics

Zhichao Went through the previous undetermined topics related to the requirement doc

Several pieces are finalized. And use cases will be provided by participants to be included as part of the requirement doc.

Next meeting

The next telco is planned on Oct. 18th, 2010 at 9:00am PDT or 6:00pm CEST.

Zhichao Deng:

  • Update requirement document from the meeting discussion.

Subramanian Sivaramakrishnan:

  • Provide use cases for Elemet-wise matrix +, -, *, /, exp operation
  • Provide the use cases for non-floating type matrix

David Bishop:

  • Provide the use case for Kronecker product and Matrix norm
  • Provide the use cases for the normal operation
  • Provide the use cases for non floating type matrix (such as fixed floating point type as input for filter?)

Ernst Christen:

  • Check with David about the VHDL-AMS and VHDL standard consistency related to matrix/vector support.

For everyone:

Review the slice naming convention used in David's package
