Call to order on July 19, 2010 at 8am PST (5pm CEST)

Review plan and refinement

The proposed plan is OK. Project telcos once a month. Most of the work through emails.

Discuss requirements analysis steps and solicit volunteers

Zhichao presents the new requirement document. A number of points are discussed:

• The scope of multi-dimension matrix is brought up and will be included if there is some use case.
• Block matrix may not be able to be supported by VHDL language.
• Cross product for vector will be added if there is appropriate use case.
• Find use case for matrix exponential operation.
• The use case of solving matrix equation will determine whether there is need to standardize the sparse matrix solving related operations.

Next meeting

The next telco is planned on Aug 9th, 2010 at 8:00am PDT or 5:00pm CEST.
