3. Review and approve meeting minutes from April 28th meeting

There was insufficient quorum to approve the minutes

4. Review action items and content provided from them

  • Ernst - Locate paper on dimensional analysis
  • David - Develop scope with use cases
    • Presented in meeting

5. Discussion

Presentation was reviewed.

The contents of existing 1076.1.1 needs to be reviewed based on earlier definition of vectors.

The work on adding compatible connections might have implications on mixed netlists. More thought needs to be given to this.

The idea to consider a base dimension that is associated with a quantity and thereby a nature for SI based units with views for non-SI based units was discussed.

6.Next Meeting

Wednesday June 23, 2010, 8am PDT.

Action Items:

  • Ernst - Review definitions of vectors in light of 1076 definition
  • Ernst/David - develop first pass on detailed requirements for supporting compatible connections for different natures
  • David - review current text and implementation for SI10 consistency
  • David - look to see if Modelica handles units/dimensions
  • David - rework scope to include dimensions

6. AOB

7. Adjourn

Meeting was adjourned at 9am PDT.
