5540, Jonathan was worried about last bullet, but he is not attending today's meeting. Opened action item "Francoise to check on 5540, about issue raised by Jonathan".

2488, Steven in his ballot http://grouper.ieee.org/groups/1800/sv/bc/private/email/msg00146.html explained how this is just normal SystemVerilog behavior, but the description is unclear.

Dave: What would be the smallest change possible to clarify it?

Steven: If we don't say anything, people may assume it works like C++, not like Java.

Arturo: Should be a note warning about the dangers.

Dave: It's already only an informative note.

Francoise: "latest derived class" not clearly defined

Brad: Why is it a "note"?

Various: Some people may believe this is illegal, a note would call out that it is legal, there is no special semantics as in C++. But should warn about uninitialized.
