Mentor comments and responses to comments
John will review D7 preview today and tomorrow.
Synopsys comments and responses to comments
Dave reported that an initial look at D7 preview is good. He will do more review today and tomorrow.
Xilinx comments and response to comments
Ray reported that changes in D7 preview look good. He will look through the rest of clause 5 today and tomorrow.
Altera comments and response to comments
Jeff reported that all responses to Altera comments in the spreadsheet looked good. Jeff will review D7 preview this week, early in the week if possible.
Other comments and comment summary
Gael emailed one suggestion for 6.4.1. Dave and John will both review and comment today or tomorrow.
Joe discussed the reamining part of the process: he is looking for final tweaks this week and a vote to proceed to recirculation next Monday. If minor comments are brought up next Monday, these can be incorporated and followed by an email vote. If anything more significant is brought up, that could lead to a second recirculation ballot. With the current plan and schedule, there will only be two more WG meetings: Sept 15 and 29. Dave will continue working with IEEE beyond that to see this through
RevCom and publication, and will call additional WG meetings if any editorial comments require technical discussion.
Other Business
Dave will review comment tracking and recirculation ballot procedure with Jonathan this week.
