Ernst agreed to approve the Minutes of the December 12, 2011 meeting. The January 16, 2012 meeting was canceled.
---+++ Status of the reference implementation v0.9 using VHDL 2008

Details concerning the status are shown in the meeting slides ([[%PUBURL%/%WEB%/ProjectTableDrivenModeling/1076.1_table_driven_modeling_2012_01_30.ppt][ppt]]). Implementation of the package body is based on VHDL 2008.

The subsequent topics were discussed and shall be considered in the next version of the reference implementation:
   * For PREPARE_TABLE_DATA functions that read data from a file, an additional argument and corresponding type shall be provided. File formats (such as Touchstone, ...) shall be described by this parameter.
   * The DEPENDENT_SELECTOR in the case of complex-valued one-dimensional interpolation shall point to a group of two columns that decsribe a complex number.
   * A type REAL_MATRIX (available in VHDL 2002) instead of REAL_VECTOR_ARRAY (only available in VHDL 2008) shall be used to provide data for multi-dimensional interpolation.

An important question for the further activities is whether the types TABLE_DATA_REAL and TABLE_DATA_COMPLEX must be fixed by the package header or can be modified by implementors.
