---+ P1076 Minutes from February 20, 2020 ---++ Attendees Jim Lewis, Patrick Lehmann, Peter Flake, Ryan Hinton, Rob Gaddi, Ken Campbell, Peter LaDow ---++ Meeting Discussion * Review of items deferred from VHDL-2019 (see [[http://www.eda-twiki.org/cgi-bin/view.cgi/P1076/Vhdl2019CollectedRequirements][here]]) * Three previous items (LCS-2016-007a, LCS-2016-028, and LCS-2016-070) were marked for review for 202x * LCS-2016-002a through LCS-2016-026b were tagged as done otherwise or marked for review for 202x * Reminder about updates to VITAL was mentioned. This is an item for 202x to consider/include. * Discussion about the use of LaTeX * Jim noted the need for full context diffs for review, including the ability to do strikethrough and red text for changes. * Lots of discussion about the process to generate and revew LCS items, manage changes, generate drafts, etc. * There is a need for an administrator to manage the pull requests, merge, draft generation, etc. * Suggestion to create a document (perhaps the README.md in the Gitlab repository) with details, such as how source .tex files are organized, how to generate pull requests, branching strategies, etc. * Patrick demonstrated some tools, incluing MiKTek and TeXWorks ---++ Next Meeting Thursday March 5th, 202, 11 am Pacific Daylight Time (GMT-7) ---++ Comments %COMMENT% -- %USERSIG{PeterLadow - 2020-02-28}%
