• Block Interfaces
  • Lots of discussion on reflector from John Aasen and Ernst C.
• Arbitrary Length Integers
  • UNIVERSAL_INTEGER = BigNum
  • Rob cited example where used 80 bits and is worried about increasing over time.
  • Ryan: BigNum always unconstrained. For synthesis, we need constrained integers.
  • Base type: BigNum. Integer is a 32-bit constrained subtype.
  • Allow UNIVERSAL_INTEGER as a function parameter, but otherwise usage must be constrained
  • If usage of BigNum slowed integer performance to 1/3 of what it is now, is that significant?
  • AI: Ryan to add integers as 32 bit constrained subtype of UNIVERSAL_INTEGER
