Jim, I completely agree that this topic evolved into a tool feature
request and in no way something to discuss on this list further. I just
wanted to explain what I meant, for the curious.
The reason for me to bring it up here was to discuss whether such a
feature – delta cycles in the _wave_ window – should be a required
feature for any VHDL simulator to be compliant to the standard. I drop
this discussion now as it is of little use for most development
workflows and should be really considered an unintended and misdirected
feature request.
