I have posted the minutes from the VHDL 200x working group meeting held 4 Mar 2004 at Mentor Graphics in San Jose, CA. If anyone who attended has additions/corrections, let me know. (http://www.eda-twiki.org/vhdl-200x/docs/3_4_2004_mtg_minutes.pdf)
Also, we are planning our next WG meeting. I would like to target the 1st half of April. If possible, I would like to again have an in-person meeting as these work the best for in-depth analysis and brainstorming of problems and solutions. The location would probably be the Mentor Graphics campus in Wilsonville, OR. The goal for the next meeting is to focus on a couple of high priority issues that we need to make more progress on if they are to make the the FT revision. The 3 that quickly come to mind are:
1. Enhanced generics.
2. Interfaces
3. PSL and assertion-based verification
Others items may be added, but I do want to keep this meeting focussed.
Of course, the meeting is open to anyone (as are all IEEE DASC WG meetings). While I cannot accomodate everyone's schedules, etc. in determining the meeting time and space, I will try to accomodate as many people who have been active in developing proposals, etc. for VHDL 200x.
