I have requested a room for a Birds of a Feather meeting at DAC. As with
DVCon, the BoF meeting would serve to publicize the 200x effort and provide
a general status for a general audience. I do not know yet when or where
the BoF meeting will be held.

I also wanted to assess the interest in holding an in-person Working Group
meeting at DAC. It looks like the best time to do so would be Friday (6
June) in the morning. Due to conference commitments of many people, it is
impractical to hold a significant WG meeting either prior to or during the
conference. (Although DAC is still in progress on Friday, it looks like
there are only some tutorials. The exhibits and demos suites are both
closed by then.) The goal would be to finish the meeting around noon to
allow sufficient time for people to catch afternoon flights home on friday.

If you weren't planning on attending DAC, then you wouldn't have any travel
considerations. (I will try to have telecon available for remote access to
the meeting.) However, for those WG members who are planning on attending
DAC, please let me know if a friday morning WG meeting is feasible.

The purpose of the meeting would be to review the progress of all functional
teams. I would expect that all teams will have made significant progress in
at least a few areas that would be worth sharing with a broader audience.
There will be a special focus on the progress of the Fast-Track team.
