Steve,
Simulation performance is the main thrust of the
performance group. There are a number of ideas that
are being considered.
In general, all of the groups are still in
organizational mode and the issues are still being
sorted through. However, since you have lots of
enthusiasm, there are three sources for the issues.
The first is the presentation given on Thursday
following DVCon03:
http://www.eda-twiki.org/vhdl-200x/docs/feb_03_wg_mtg1_rev3.pdf
Issues start at about page 10/slide 20.
These came from a collected wish list:
http://www.eda-twiki.org/vhdl-200x/docs/collected_wish_list.pdf
Ones with my name (Jim Lewis) on it are further elaborated at:
http://www.eda-twiki.org/vhdl-200x/docs/jims_200x_requests.pdf
Requests are still being accepted at:
http://www.eda-twiki.org/vasg/bugrep.htm
In addition, the ISAC is sorting through pending requests
to determine where they fit with respect to the on-going
effort.
Cheers,
Jim Lewis
P.S.
We appreciate your energy and there will be lots
of opportunities to contribute comming up.
