It is true that Verilog simulators are faster than VITAL.

As I mentioned earlier, a lot of effort has gone into accelerating
Verilog gates over the years. I don't think there has been a similar
effort for VITAL. There are many reasons for this. But I would be
surprised if any of them are related to inherent deficiencies in VITAL.
