I have used freeconference.com for 1076.1 for a while, when I could not use my company's Livemeeting account. They support at least Internet Explorer and Firefox. It's decent, although not as fast as Webex, Gotomeeting, or Livemeeting. They also provide phone services for free, and services you pay for: 800 number, transcripts, and more.
Hi,
Does anyone have recommendations for free or "sponsored -
such as you have one" web based meeting services. Even
one that is only chat based would supplement the phone
that we are currently using.
I am looking for ways to make the meetings go smoother,
such as mechanisms for people to indicate that they would
like to speak on an issue being discussed - in particular
without having long "dead" air time or the meeting moving
on before there is a gap in which to speak on a topic.
If you have any ideas, please speak up.
Best,
Jim
