Hi Mac and all,
If there are no objections, I will terminate the current P&Ps vote as it is clear a bit more discussion was needed, update the P&Ps as per Peter's and Mac's comments and then restart the vote with the updated/"instantiated" WG P&Ps.
I think this will be cleaner and will help to ensure that people are satisfied that there is no confusion between what was conditionally approved and what actually becomes our P&Ps.
Also, it is worth considering if we wish to specifically allow individual voting within sub-groups (committees) of the WG in the P&Ps (see Peter's email) in order to cover all possible outcomes WRT WG membership in the PAR. I will investigate that aspect before sending out the revised, draft WG P&Ps for a vote.
Of course, continued discussion on the P&Ps is encouraged as I'm sure I won't be able to get the revision out until next week sometime and it isn't efficient to repeatedly starting/stopping a vote.
Thanks,
-Steve Bailey
