I don't like this. The probability may be less than 1 in 10^23, but it's
not clean

This could be used to eliminate the 'protected' statements completely,
which would be nice

4) Force use of lower-case, ie. 'end_protected', rather than 'END_PROTECTED'

5) Put in a space, ie. 'pragma end_protected', and use uuencode's trick
of substituting spaces
