An "initial cut" is just that. We will be discussing this today, but my
recommendation is that:

- We do the initial cut prioritization today
- Solicit feedback next week from the DATE meeting attendees
- Adjust, if needed, based on DATE feedback
- Publish the priority list broadly for further comment / feedback
- Adjust again, if needed, based on feedback

But, please note that the intention is that the WG consensus on priorities is
expected today as we are having a WG meeting. Therefore, the emphasis of the
DATE and broader publication and feedback is to give the broader user community
a chance to tell us if we are missing something important.

For WG members (including those who cannot attend today's meeting), this
forum -- vhdl-200x -- exists as the means for providing comments and opinion.
That is, we do not wish to miss any valuable input from WG members because they
miss any specific meeting. In the end, we have a common goal to ensure the best
result from this process.

My recommendation for WG members who cannot attend today's meeting is that they
review the results of the meeting and that they provide comment to
vhdl-200x@eda.org. I will be providing the material for the DATE meeting which
will document the draft priorities both for John Willis and Dennis Brophy who
will be chairing that meeting and to this forum for all to see and review.
