If I understand the question, there is no problem really you dump the
(variables in) the module *and* the variable.

I'm not an expert on dumpvars, perhaps Bassam would be able to answer
this question. LRM for 1364 does not spell out this condition.

Your proposal looks fine to me. I was just wondering if the arguments
after the level are just an identifier, how does $dumpvars resolves it
if there is a variable and a module with the same name in the design.
