Hi,

The specification covers interaction with C and a C interface (section 17.4). Other HDL's such as SystemVerilog and VHDL attach through simulator adaptors which are referenced in the stubs file. Specman by default creates ones for verilog and VHDL (and does vendor specific versions), but there is no reason why an adaptor for any language/simulator couldn't be used. See section 23 for a little more detail here.

Hi all,

I'm asking this question out of total ignorance, so apologies in advance... Does the IEEE specification cover interaction between e and other languages (such as SystemC or SystemVerilog)? Or is that topic meant to be vendor-specific?
