IEEE P1076.1 WG Officer Elections : Call for nominations

Hi All,

This is a call for nominations for the election of officers of the IEEE P1076.1 Working Group. The election is necessary because the term of offices will end on December 31, 2015. I have been appointed to act as Elections Officer for the election of


*         the Chair of the IEEE P1076.1 WG and

*         the Vice-Chair.

Please forward nominations by return email to me not later than  Friday, December 4, 2015 - 12pm PDT. The Chair and Vice Chair shall  each be IEEE members of any grade, except Student grade, or IEEE Society affiliates, and also be members of IEEE-SA. The nomination and election procedures base on the new Policies and Procedures for the IEEE P1076.1 Working Group which just have been approved by the DASC - available via http://www.vhdl-ams.org/vhdl-ams As I receive nominations, I will confirm with the nominees that they are eligible and willing to stand. Afterwards, the election will be started.
