P1076.1 Call for Nominations for the position of Secretary

As previously announced, Alain Vachoux has resigned from his position as Secretary of the IEEE P1076.1 Working Group to take over responsibility for the LRM work.  To fill the vacant position the WG will hold elections on the following schedule.
I will act as Returning Officer for the elections.
 
To start the process I am calling for nominations to fill the vacant position. You may nominate yourself or another person. The nominee must be willing to serve and be a member of the Working Group. You can find information about the duties of the Secretary in the Operating Procedures of the WG at http://www.eda-twiki.org/twiki/pub/P10761/WebHome/OperatingProcedures2011.pdf .
 
Please forward nominations by March 31 by responding to this message or by sending email to christen.1858@comcast.net. As I receive nominations I will confirm eligibility of the nominees and their willingness to serve. Nominees are also welcome to submit a position statement that will be included in at the start of the election, but there is no requirement to do so.
