Hi Ernst,
Feedback is a bit late...
I assume the first 8 pages in the released standard, that are missing in the document you pointed to, are provided by the IEEE. This includes the abstract on the title page, the Introduction, Participants (some other information is there but it is not specific to this standard). When does this information get updated and reviewed? My assumption is that this is separate from the technical content and we are just approving the technical content.

The comments added for Density of polysilicon and silicon-dioxide have units <KILOGRAMS/METER_CUBED>. The actual SI derived unit name for density, in SI10-2002, is kilogram per cubic meter (the name) and kg/m3 (for the unit). This is semantically consistent but syntactically different. I guess my question is how much do we actually follow the SI standard on unit names? Since we are doing another pass through this on integrating it into the 1076.1 LRM I think this is fine for now. We may need to reconcile all the units when we integrate.

Other than that I see no issues.

Regards
David

Subject: IEEE P1076.1 WG: Review of draft document for P1076.1.1

All,

As discussed at the Working Group meeting this past Tuesday, the draft of P1076.1.1-2010 VHDL Analog and Mixed-Signal Extensions-Packages for Multiple Energy Domain Support is available for review by the WG. This is a minor update to IEEE Std 1076.1.1-2004. Changes are indicated by markup in the document. The review will end on April 23, 2010 and be followed by a vote of the WG to approve the document.

The draft document is available at http://www.eda-twiki.org/twiki/pub/P10761/P107611Privatearea/P1076.1.1-2010-Body-D1.1.pdf. To access the document you need an account on the Working Group twiki site. Please contact the WG Secretary Alain Vachoux, alain.vachoux@epfl.ch to get an account. Accounts are available for Working Group members who are also DASC members.

Please send comments about the document content to the reflector. Please send questions and issues about access to the document to Alain and to me.
