I have many of these changes worked into my debug release.  Sorry if 
I've been a bit absent on the reflectors, busy times at work.

I have on my "todo" list all of the things you have here, as well as a 
few more.  I recently ran a test through Cadence RC, and that pulled out 
a few more issues than the ones you posted.
