I have looked at some the issues around representing bundles in VHDL, based on the requirements discussed at previous meetings. The current result is at http://www.eda-twiki.org/cgi-bin/view.cgi/P1076/BundlesInVHDL. The basic premise is that whatever we do has to fit into the existing language framework, and this of course imposes some constraints. In a number of places there are choices to be made, each of which has its own implication. The document is not complete yet, nor is it coherent, but feedback is essential to take the next step. Unfortunately I will not be able to attend tomorrow's meeting as I am unavailable after 10 am PDT on June 25. For this reason you may want to add your comments, suggestions, questions to the document.
