That may not be the sort of thing one may disagree with.
My point was that if this thing proves impractical to do, at least
one oddball function-loving fpga designer will not suffer as a result.
Most of my port maps are at the device pin level. My complex record and
array
types are variables. Quartus handles the ins and outs.
