Not sure if this it the right forum for this question, but would it be
possible to get the equivalent of SystemVerilog's DPI-C function interface
into VHDL?
To get data to/from C , I currently create a SystemVerilog module that uses
this and then wrap that in a VHDL module which I then interface to. Being
able to call a DPI function directly from VHDL would be very useful
