[vhdl-200x] Call for nominations for VASG Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary

Dear colleagues,


I have been asked to act as Returning Officer for election of VASG Chair,
Vice-Chair and Secretary. This is a call for nominations for those positions.
Please forward nominations to me by return email by 5pm US-PST Wednesday 12
December, 2007.

For your information, the following are requirements from the VASG
Procedures:

  The Chair shall be a member of any grade of the IEEE, a member of
  the IEEE-SA, and a member of the DASC. 

  The Vice Chair shall be a member of any grade of the IEEE, a member of
  the IEEE-SA and a member of the DASC.

  The Secretary shall be a member of the DASC.

  The Members shall nominate to the Returning Officer one or more Members
  for each office to be filled at the election.  Nominees shall be eligible
  at the time of nomination to hold the office for which they are elected.

As I receive nominations, I will confirm with the nominee that they are
eligible and willing to stand.
