[vhdl-200x] Working Group Elections

Hi All,

The current term of the WG officers ends 31 Dec 05.  Due to IEEE rules,
I am ineligible to run for another term as chairman.  As my work
commitments now conflict with my ability to properly fulfill the
responsibilities and obligations of any WG office, I will not be
competing for any of the offices (Chair, Vice Chair or Secretary) of the
Working Group.

Therefore, if there are no objections, I will volunteer to serve as
returning officer for the purpose of conducting the election of new WG
officers.  And, of course, I will work with the new chair to transition
WG responsibilities.

Assuming there are no objections to me serving as returning officer, I
will issue a call for nominations in the near future.  Any WG member can
nominate any other WG member (including themselves).  Officers must be
qualified according to IEEE, DASC and WG policies and procedures.
