[vhdl-200x] Call for election of P1076 officers

Dear colleagues,

Following are nominations received, accepted and checked for eligibility for
election of officers for P1076, the VHDL Working Group:

Chair: Stephen Bailey (nominated by Jim Lewis and Ron Waxman)

Vice-Chair: Jim Lewis (nominated by Stephen Bailey)
            Victor Berman (nominated by Ron Waxman)

Secretary: John Ries (nominated by Stephen Bailey)

I invite the candidates to forward position statements by email to the list
(stds-vasg@ieee.org and vhdl-200x@eda.org).

I now call for election of officers by email ballot. Please commplete the
following ballot and forward to me (mailto:peter@ashenden.com.au) by 5pm
US-PDT, Friday 7 May 2004. A list of eligible voters is included below.

Voting is by approval. For each position, you can vote to approve any
number of candidates by placing an X in front of their names. You can vote
to approve a person not listed as a candidate by inserting their name as a
write-in candidate and placing an X in front of the name.

For each position, the winner will be the candidate who receives the
greatest number of approval votes. In the event of a tie, the Returning
Officer will pick one of the tying candidate's names from a hat.
