I just remembered a request from last night. I have added this as the last
bullet on slide 35:

  Standardize Modelsim behavior.

Modelsim is the VHDL simulation market share leader (that's just a fact, not an
advertisement -- please don't misuse this for sales or marketing ;-). However,
in many circumstances, Modelsim does not strictly implement the LRM
specification. In most cases, this does not cause problems and (in my opinion)
often reflects what many reasonable designers would expect. The result is that
many designs and designers implicitly depend on the behavior of Modelsim.
(Kinda similar to Verilog-XL being the "golden" Verilog simulator for many
years.) Clearly, this catch-all item covers many things. It may not be
desirable to mimic Modelsim in all cases, but we'll let the technical work
figure this out. At this level, it is a general evaluation where all reserve
the right to disagree with any specific item that would fall under the broad
category.

(I didn't want to resend the entire presentation over just this one small
change.)
