Subject: [sv-ac] Operating Guidelines - have been updated

Hi all,

At yesterday's P1800 working group meeting it was agreed to make a set
of
changes to the Technical Committee's "Operating Guidelines". Attached
are two copies of the new guidelines. One of them contains the set of
changes highlighted and the other is a "clean copy".

All of the technical committees (sv-ac, sv-bc, sv-cc, sv-ec, sv-xc) need
to
follow this new set of guidelines. They are in effect immediately.

The chairs will now need to track a new attendance metric in order to
determine
an individual's voting rights. Voting rights may be retained if an
individual
has attended three-fourths of the regularly scheduled meetings of a
technical
committee since the voting rights were last reset (August, 2006). The
"last
2 out of 3 meeting rule still applies. The three-fourths rule only needs
to
be considered if an individual has not attended 2 out of the last 3
meetings.

Neil
