Or to more appropriately write the last paragraph: This means a 10 day recirculation is being started today so that when RevCom meets later in October, they will see that we have satisfied all outstanding procedural requirements to allow them to approve the standards. -Dennis ________________________________ From: owner-ieee1800@eda.org [mailto:owner-ieee1800@eda.org] On Behalf Of Brophy, Dennis Sent: Wednesday, September 21, 2005 2:35 PM To: ieee1800@eda.org Subject: [P1800] IEEE SA RevCom Update Dear SystemVerilog Working Group, As a member of RevCom, I wanted to give the team an update on the approval of P1800 and P1364 and what transpired today at RevCom. RevCom has postponed approval until the names of the negative balloters are officially part of a recirculation package so all balloters can know with certainty who voted negative and for what. This is being done to satisfy an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) requirement so that P1800 and P1364 can automatically become ANSI standards. This means a 10 day recirculation is being started today so that when RevCom meets later in October. At that next meeting they we see that we have satisfied all outstanding procedural requirements to allow them to approve the standards.
