RE: Encryption Group meeting suspended until further notice

Hi Steven,

In the last P1800 WG meeting (August 9), the alignment between 1364 and
P1800 work was discussed. The following action item was captured:

* Action Request: [Johny Srouji] Identify a small ad-hoc group
that would report back to the SV WG on the future alignment of 1364 with
SystemVerilog. Victor will lead and Cliff, Alec and Karen along with the
BTF and PTF chair and co-chairs will participate to create the report.
The report will be presented to the SV WG at the October meeting. Data
type issues should be filed to ensure they are addressed.

I have already started communicating w/ Victor on this in order to
identify the key people who need to participate in this task force.
Victor has been gathering information on the highest priority items
which different groups in 1364 have been working on and will report
progress in our next F2F meeting (Sep 14). The full report is expected
to be presented in the Oct F2F meeting.

As there is no delegation provided from the working group which

owns the revised 1364 PAR, further work on the Encryption proposal

is suspended until such time as the details of organizational

structure have been determined. Please plan to work on the previously

distributed action items in anticipation of the working group

resolving these issues in a timely manner.
