call for roadmap feature outlines

Hi Folks:

We have seen some interesting discussion of use cases, and I look
forward to more.

We need also to start putting together ideas for the roadmap. I suggest
that people reflect on the use cases they think are important and try to
outline the features that will be needed to support those use cases.
Try to partition the features into priorities like, "essential for basic
use", "enabler of more esoteric use", "nice to have sometime in the
future". This will help to enable us to organize the features into
phases that will admit some feasible goals for the current PAR while
still documenting a vision for future development.

I am asking for this information in something like outline form because
we do not have to have the ideas fully fleshed out. We just need to
have some written material to use as the basis for discussion and
negotiation as we try to converge on the content for the roadmap.

I will send information presently about our next meeting.
