Hi Lisa,
 
I agree that the function may be quite useless in practice since the
assertions have no span of time but I don't think it is worthwhile to
make an exclusion statement after all one can have a concurrent
assertion with same characteristic.

Hi Bassam,

Do you see any application for vpiAssertionReset and vpiAssertionKill
for immediate assertions.  Similarly, do you see any application for
cbAssertionReset or cbAssertionKill?   Since these are non-temporal, it
does not seem to make sense.
