So, for example, when the standard refers to a "compile time error", an implementation is permitted to report the error at any time prior to the start of simulation." But it would be confusing to use 'elaboration' and then use 'compilation' in the more general sense. I mistakenly put this comment with the 2150 result rather than the 1769 result. Has this also been addressed?
