- Reminder of IEEE patent policy.

- D4 Review
. Voice vote on combined D4 review response for the editor.

- Extension period plan (due 2007-11-12)
. 2007-11-06 extended due date for items and effort plans.
. DK will keep the growing list of items to be worked on in
the extension and send it out periodically so that people can
confirm that their items are on the list.

Ballots closing 2007-11-05:
- 1648: Default disable [DK, EC].
- 1731: Sampled value functions with arbitrary clocks [DK].
- 1737: Incomplete fix from 1381

Feedback State:
- 1601: New keyword for untyped formal arguments [LP] (under ballot)
- 1729: Immediate assume, cover [EC]
. AI: MK will send mail about what of 1729 needs to be aligned with 1641.

Major items:
- 1932: LTL Operator [DK, DB]
- 1900: Checkers [DK]

General working items:
- 2005: Glitches with immediate assertions [ES]
- 1995: Assertions and checkers in for loops [ES]
- 1756: Control of assertions in initial blocks [EC]
. DK: Let's try to write sketches of two possible solutions.

- Other items

Notes:
------

- Reminder of IEEE patent policy.

- D4 Review
. Voice vote on combined D4 review response for the editor.
    * 5y/0n/0a from among those attending the meeting at that time.
    * JH will send to Stu.

- Discussion of upcoming meetings
. JH will not be available on 2007-11-27 and 2007-12-04. We will
DK will lead the meeting on 2007-11-27. We will consider
moving the meeting from 2007-12-04 to 2007-12-05.
. We will not meet on 2007-12-25 or 2008-01-01. We will consider
an alternate meeting time the week of 2008-01-01.

- Extension period plan (due 2007-11-12)
. DK sent out .xls of the items that had been sent in for the
    list and effort estimates.
. Some minor items that were suggested still do not have owners.
. There are some major items that do not have owners, but we
want to be able to work on them if there is time. They will
not be in the timeline, though. DK will add the following items
to the list in this category:
1698: Semantics of sampled value functions outside assertions [EC]
1849: VPI diagrams for immediate assume, cover [BT]
2088: Allow covergroups in checkers [ES]
2089: Allow final blocks with immediates assertions in checkers [ES]
. The following item should be on the list so that it can be closed
    later as subsumed by 1900:
    2111: Allow parameters in checkers
. DK will revise the .xls and send out.
. JH will send mail to DK on when to meet about creating the timeline.

Ballots closing 2007-11-05:
- 1648: Default disable [DK, EC].
. We will change "from without" to "from outside". JH will work with
EC on this and the other feedback.
. We will use "default disable iff" rather than "default disable".
MK will solicit feedback from Dave Rich on this.
- 1731: Sampled value functions with arbitrary clocks [DK].
. Passed, no friendly amendments. JH will move state as soon as possible.
- 1737: Incomplete fix from 1381 [LP]
  . Passed with friendly amendments
. LP will have the revision out asap. We will voice vote next week.
- 1757: accept_on, reject_on [EC, DB].
. We will use "disable condition" for disable iff, and we will use
    "abort condition" for accept_on, reject_on.
. Non-controversial feedback from JM, MK, LP will be implemented by DB.
. DB will add the same change as 1648 to the language describing
where boolean expressions are used in properties. There should be
a note to the editor to indicate that the change is consistent with
    1648.

Feedback State:
- 1601: New keyword for untyped formal arguments [LP] (under ballot)
- 1729: Immediate assume, cover [EC]
. MK sent mail about what of 1729 needs to be aligned with 1641.
. EC needs to revise 1729.

Major items:
- 1932: LTL Operators [DK, DB]
. DB got a draft from Dana Fisman regarding next[0]. In PSL it is
allowed to switch clocks in the same cycle.
. DB: Idea is to use |-> to define nexts and other operators, so we
pick up the restrictions on changing clocks.
. JH: Some language should be added in 16.13.2.
- 1900: Checkers [DK]
. Added section on formal semantics.
. This proposal depends on future value functions.
. JH will call for vote on 1900.

General working items:
- 2005: Glitches with immediate assertions [ES]
. Updated proposal from Doug Warmke. New proposal is still
problematic with clocking events. They do not behave intuitively
for very basic cases. The proposal moves evaluation in postponed
to evaluation in observed. Not everyone agrees on where to
    evaluate, and there other issues.
- 1995: Assertions and checkers in for loops [ES]
. We need to catch up on e-mail and study the feedback from Gord V.
    and the response from ES.
- 1756: Control of assertions in initial blocks [EC]
. DK: Let's try to write sketches of two possible solutions.
  . MK suggested "once".
. DB said maybe this should not be in procedural code, but a
    module item or block itself.
. DB will work with EC on revising the proposal.
- 1682: Future value functions [DK].
. DB said we don't have definition of completion of evaluation
    attempt.
. DK: there is a potential problem with "disable iff". There
should be primed variables in the formal treatment, so it
should be clear there, but we need a few words or an example.
. JH will review the new example in Clause 16 and check for
    better wording.
. MK will look back over revised 1682 and send mail.

Other items
- 2171. LP has reviewed.
. JH will call for vote on 2171.
- 1898. BT said this is ready for vote.
. JH will call for vote on 1898.
