Hi Lisa: I agree with Shalom's comments about the names of the files, but we will change them anyway. The fine tuning has turned into major surgery, though, since what we had before in 16.7 was not in good shape. I am trying to maintain the technical content from the original 1549 while also addressing the issues raised in 1852 and 1982. Also, I am finding more bugs. For example: . Parentheses cannot always be added around an actual argument before substituting (e.g., if the actual argument is $). . The rewriting algorithm does not talk about what to do with a sequence instance that appears in a sequence_method_call or an event_expression. . The 16.7 text plainly says that a sequence can be instantiated using a hierarchal name, but the syntax productions do not seem to allow this. Fun, fun, fun.
