Subject: IEEE1647 PAR

Hi,

As I've had no comments about the draft PAR I sent around last time, I'm going to assume that everyone is happy with it and that we are ready to ballot on it within the working group. So I hereby notify the group that an e-mail based ballot will be opened on Monday 1st October 2012, to run for 14 days (i.e. closing on the 14th October 2012) with the following question on the ballot:

Do you approve the draft IEEE1647 PAR as posted on http://www.eda-twiki.org/twiki/pub/P1647/DownLoads/P1647_PAR_submission.docx to enable development of a post IEEE 1647-2011 standard?

Votes should be sent to the reflector, and only votes from eligible members will count (as defined by the attendance roster). Assuming approval, the PAR document will go to the DASC for their approval, and then on to the IEEE-SA.

Cheers,

Darren
