Subject: [1076.1] IEEE P1076.1 Elections

As previously announced, the position of Secretary of the P1076.1 Working
Group has become vacant due to Alain taking ownership of the LRM editing.
The nomination period has ended, and I have the pleasure to announce that
Joachim Haase has been nominated for the open position. Joachim is
interested to serve as WG secretary. He has actively participated in the WG
for many years, and most recently he has championed the development of a
package for table driven modeling.

With this brief introduction I am opening the election for WG Secretary for
a term that will end at the end of 2014. As stated, we have Joachim Haase as
candidate, but out P&Ps allow write-in candidates.

_______ Joachim Haase

_______ write-in: ___________________

The election is by approval. You may give votes to any number of candidates,
and the one who receives the greatest number of approval votes will win the
election. Your participation in the election will count towards membership
and voting membership state as described in the P&Ps. The vote is counted if
you are a voting member of the WG.

Please return your vote by replying to this message by April 17, 2013; votes
received by midnight PDT on April 17 will be included in the tally. I will
acknowledge receipt of each vote and let you know how it will be counted.
