Hi All,


The nominations for officers of P1735 were closed on December 8th, 2009.  I
now call for votes for election of officers.


There were two nominees for Chair: Ernst Christen and Thuy Tran. However,
it was determined that Thuy Tran was not eligible to stand for office.
There was one nominee for Vice-Chair: John Willis. There was one nominee
for Secretary: Alain Vachoux.  There was one nominee for Treasurer: David
Smith.


Would the members please vote for Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, and
Treasurer?


There is an opportunity to vote for Write-in candidates, provided they are
eligible to be nominated. Voting is by 'approval', whereby each balloter
may cast an approval vote for each of any number of nominees for an office.
The nominee with the greatest number of approval votes wins the election.


Please vote by return email to me (NOT by reply-all to the list!) by 5pm
US-PDT, Tuesday, December 29th, 2009. Please vote by inserting an X or
similar mark next to each candidate for whom you approve.
