Dear P1076.1 Working Group member, At its monthly meeting this morning the DASC confirmed the election of the Chair and Vice-Chair of the P1076.1 Working Group. This means that all Officers are now duely elected and able to serve. The DASC also confirmed the election results of the P1076 and P1801 Working Groups. In other business the DASC took notice that IEEE-SA rejected two PARs because it considers the term IP (for intellectual property) not well defined. A definition of IP in EDA context will be worked out and the result coordinated with the group maintaining the IEEE definitions/glossary. Finally, people were encouraged to renew their DASC membership if they haven't done so already. Forms can be found at www.dasc.org.
