[1076.1] Working group update

Dear 1076.1 Working Group members,

I'd like to inform you about activities that are going to run in the following 
weeks.

There will be a 1076.1 WG meeting in conjunction with the FDL conference 
(Sept. 27-30, 2005, http://www.ecsi.org/fdl/). The date, agenda, and room will 
be announced in a few days. You'll also note that there will be several 
contributions at FDL on VHDL-AMS related topics so the event will be a 
convenient opportunity to discuss about the standard and its developments. As 
a side notice, discount registration for FDL is possible until Sept. 2.

I'll soon initiate a WG vote on a remaining administrative issue. We'll have 
to approve (or disapprove) the Operating Procedures of the working group. The 
draft document is available at

Before starting the vote process, I'd like to leave you some time to update 
your voting membership. The conditions for being a voting member are available 
at http://www.eda-twiki.org/vhdl-ams/wwwpages_new/how_to_participate.html. Let us 
have the following planning:
- Until Sept. 9: update on voting membership.
- Sept. 9 - 23: voting period.
This way the vote results will be known by the FDL meeting. Note that the vote 
will require approval by two-thirds of the voting members.
