VSIA's Analog-Mixed Signal Development Working Group Workshop
Tübingen, Germany
(same location as the FDL2000 Conference)

VSIA's Analog-Mixed Signal (AMS) Development Working Group (DWG) would
like to invite you to attend its AMS workshop at Forum on Design
Languages (FDL'00) conference (http://ecsi.fzi.de/fdl2000/) at the
University of Tubingen, Germany. This meeting is a follow-on meeting to
the last AMS DWG workshop that took place at DATE2000 this year.
Open to VSIA and non-VSIA members, this AMS DWG meeting is scheduled for
Tuesday, 9/5 from 18:00-21:00.

At this meeting, the AMS DWG will look to begin subgroups in specific
key areas to help fulfill its fundamental charter of enabling
analog/mixed-signal virtual components (VCs) in SoCs via standards and
specifications. The key areas on which they will focus at this meeting
will be those that were identified as critical from the DATE conference
such as system level modeling and design for test. The AMS DWG will
also discuss system level modeling and how standards or specifications
can be created to enable this.

Other AMS DWG updates:
One of these new topics already being addressed by the AMS DWG is Signal
Integrity. If you are interested in participating in this work, please
contact Raminderpal Singh at raminder@cadence.com.
