I saw numerous public positive responses to the Suave OO extensions
to VHDL to the effect of if you put these in the language I would
use them right away.
With respect to using protected types for the basis of OO features,
the only public response I have seen supporting that was Steve Bailey.
Are you also leaning toward protected types?
