RE: [sv-champions] Email vote ending July 1, 2011

I agree with the ballot of Shalom, but have two more objections to 3293.

3293 -- "ancestor" is not defined anywhere in the LRM. The proposal says "a class type higher in the inheritance tree (a superclass or ancestor of the expression type)". So I guess it's not the same as a superclass. Can an ancestor handle be $cast to a variable of a subtype of which it is not a superclass? (BTW diamond inheritance has not been added yet, but soon there may not be an inheritance tree?)

3293 -- I don't consider this proposal to be compliant in format with our long-standing policy, which has served us well over the years. This style of proposal, without strikeouts and from/tos is very hard to read, because I need to print out the original section and the proposal and compare sentence by sentence to see what's new text, what the changes are.

We are conducting an email vote for mantis items that are in the resolved state. There are 8 mantis items ready for the Champions. I have put all
8 into this email vote. Three of these mantis items are for for no changes at all. Four of them have a significant amount of changes.
