Hi, The list has an item called "Checker related mantis items". "Related" is a very vague word. There are all sorts of "relations". I think this name is misleading because some of the items have nothing to do with checkers. In some cases, the checker proposal just assumes them because they have already been approved. In some cases, they are not even necessary to the checker proposal. The list makes it look as though checkers is a monster of 9 proposals, all of which are part of "THE CHECKER PROPOSAL," which is not the case. It is also important to understand that those proposals which are directly part of checkers are composed of one base proposal, 1900, and some extensions, which 1900 is not dependent on. In principle, 1900 can work even without them. So it is important to distinguish between different types of "relations".
