I'm not sure where Dave was referring to. I don't see any such link on the Accellera home page.

Accellera retained copyright to SV 3.1a and licensed it to the IEEE as the basis of 1800.  We can still do with it as we please.  In terms of reference, I would support keeping it in place just as the IEEE does with all its works on a particular standard AND I would suggest we also put a link to the IEEE store for the most current version of the standard as offered by the IEEE.

Hi Dave:

I'm confused.  Is this change required because of terms of the Accellera donation to IEEE?  Accellera SV 3.1a still exists and is referenced in the academic literature.  Do the terms of the donation require that the Accellera document be made unaccessible?  This is not a research-friendly policy.

I just noticed that there is a LRM link http://www.eda-twiki.org/sv/SystemVerilog_3.1a.pdf  on the Accellera home page. This should be removed and replaced with a link to the IEEE store.
